Legislators have passed various laws to assist consumers in protecting their information. A federal law, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, requires consumers receive a disclosure at the onset of a credit transaction which gives information about the sharing of their information. This disclosure also provides consumers a way to opt-out of this information sharing. We provide this disclosure to all of its consumers. In addition, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants California residents the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of their information to third parties.
